Stonehenge

Yesterday I took a meandering drive through the Columbia River Gorge, and among other lovely sights I encountered the Maryhill Stonhenge Memorial. If you ever find yourself traveling along Hwy 14 east, it’s worth a stop.

I love how you photographed this site. It’s been years since I’ve stopped there. Now I realize, I’m due for a visit. The entire Columbia River Gorge is magical, if you ask me.

    • Thank you, and I agree: the Gorge has so many magic places in it. I have a couple of friends who grew up in the area and had never set foot in the gorge until I took them out there. They were stunned to see what they’d been missing all those years! It’s definitely a spot everyone should visit at least once, and hopefully more than once šŸ™‚
